Obituary of Brian Lee Goldstein

Colonie, New York GOLDSTEIN Brian Lee Goldstein, age 59 of Colonie passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, August 26, 2016. Born in Batavia, New York on July 10, 1957, Brian was a graduate of Albany High School, Utica College and the Junior College of Albany. He was the founder and co- owner of Gold’s Auto in Troy with his son, Joshua. Brian had a deep love for cars. He had been employed by Armory Garage and DeNooyer Chevrolet prior to opening his own business. The 11 years he owned Gold’s Auto were considered the best years of his life. . Brian will be remembered for his wonderful and keen sense of humor and for the love and devotion he had for his family, which was his world. Once you were a part of Brian’s life there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. He was extremely loyal, giving and compassionate. Brian is survived by his wife Elisa Roth Goldstein whom he married on December 27, 1980 as well as his son, Joshua Goldstein and his daughter Jessica Wells and her husband Jami, his brother, Barry and his sister, Bonnie Rosenberg Brian adored his mother-in- law, Claire Brandt and his sister-in-law, Sheryl Schoonmaker and her children, Jeff, Cory and Casey as well as his brother in law, Alan Roth, and his wife Karen and family as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. He also leaves his Father in law, Paul Roth (Betty). Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 1:00pm. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend the service.
