Obituary of Charlotte Koblenz
Charlotte Koblenz age 90 died on August 3, 2016 in Poway, California She was the loving wife of Avrom Koblenz for 51 years. Born in Binghamton, NY, she spent most of her life in Albany before moving to San Diego in 2007 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her two children, Vicki Koblenz Dickenson and Jay Koblenz and their spouses, Roy Dickenson and Haruyo Koblenz. She has 4 grandchildren: Malinda Dickenson, with whom she had a very special relationship, Ethan Dickenson, Janna Dickenson and Duane Henninger and his wife Jennifer. She also has two great grandchildren, Blake and Avery Henninger
She was a French and Spanish teacher for several years and when she retired from teaching, became a hospital admissions worker at Albany Medical Center, a job which she loved.
Charlotte celebrated her 90th birthday last October with family and friends who came to San Diego from places like Hawaii, New York, South Carolina and Colorado just to be with her. She was a warm, caring person who always loved being surrounded by family. She will be missed.
