Obituary of Juliet Baker

Juliet Baker, age 90 of Latham, NY died on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Hospice Inn at St.Peter's Hospital in Albany, with her daughter by her side. Born in the Bronx, NY, Juliet resided most of her life there and wintered in Delray Brach, Florida for over 30 years. She resided in the Capital District since December 2013. She was a homemaker and also worked occasionally for the NYC Board of Elections. Juliet also served as a proctor for many professional examinations. Juliet was married to Max H. Baker until his passing in 2002. She was the loving mother of Barbara (Bobbi) Arisohn and her husband Brad of Clifton Park, NY, sister of Harold Pine of Westchester, grandmother of Matthew Arisohn and his wife Karys of Clifton Park, NY and Michael Arisohn and his fiancé, Chantal Krivopisk of Astoria, NY. She was the great grandmother of Jazmín Layla Arisohn, her pride and joy. Juliet also leaves her sister-in-law, Wendy Baker, niece and nephews Laurie, Jonathan and Mitchell Baker, as well as niece Linda Morano, grand niece, Laura Copello, niece Merle Pine, and grand niece and nephew, Nicole And Brandon Fuhr. In addition to her husband, Juliet was predeceased by her daughter, Gayle Michelle Baker, and a sister, Charlotte Morano. She will be remembered for the love and devotion she held for her family. Services are at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York, on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2 PM. Juliet's family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Millview Assisted Living in Latham for the care and affection they showed to Juliet during her stay.
