Obituary of Hyman Victor Yanklowitz

COHOES, NY Hyman Victor Yankklowitz, passed quietly into our memories on June 6, 2012. Born in Granville, NY May 11, 1913 to Aaron Barney and Rebecca (Rudnick) Yanklowitz. His wife Natalie "Ida" (Indgin) Yanklowitz of 67 years predeceased him in March 2008. He was also predeceased by his loving son Boris Benjamin Yanklowitz in April of 2008. Hyman ws the youngest and last surviving sibling of Samuel, Irving, Louis, Clara (Aronson) and Florence (Greene). Hyman is survived by his loving daughter-in-law, Diana (Sussman) Yanklowitz, granddaughters , Deborah (Tsvi) Gold and Alicia (Nancy Stroud) Yanklowitz and his great-grandchildren, Kira, Leah, Chaya (Gold), Cassandra and Tyler (Stroud). Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Ohav Sholom Cemetery, Church Road, Guilderland, NY.The period of mourning will be observed at Congregation Ohav Shalom, 113 New Krumkill Road in Albany following the service of interment.The remaining observance of the period of mourning will be held privately. Those wishing to remember Hyman in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the Sherer Sussman Social Action Fund at Congregation Ohav Shalom, 113 New Krumkill Road Albany, NY 12208
