Obituary of Richard Lesnick
Z Richard “Dick” Lesnick of Loudonville, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New York City, Dick was a Capital District resident most of his life. He attended Sienna College and served in the Army Air Corps flying glider planes over Europe in WW2. Dick owned Gordon L. Hayes, Inc. in Troy. He later owned Enlite Corp and Loudon East Realty both in Loudonville. He was a member of Congregation Beth Emeth, and an avid golfer, a former president and member of Shaker Ridge Country Club and presently a member at Wolferts Roost Country Club.
Dick is survived by his loving wife Bernice “Bunny” Cassell Lesnick, and daughters, Sue-Anne and her husband Warren Bock of Worcester, MA and Barbara Hoyt of Morristown, NJ, Grandfather of Joshua and Sarah Bock, Jamie and Gregory Parks, Jack Hoyt, Lt. Zachary Hoyt, and Great Grandfather of Sophie and Ethan Bock.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 12 noon at Congregation Beth Emeth, 100 Academy Rd, Albany. Interment will be private.
The period of mourning will be observed at the Lesnick residence on Friday following the memorial service
