Obituary of Helen Finkelstein

Helen Finkelstein, age 100 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany died on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the nursing home. Born in Albany, NY, Helen was the daughter of the late Max and Etta Cohen Finkelstein. She was a member of Congregation Beth Abraham Jacob in Albany. Helen had been employed by the New York State Insurance Dept. for 39 years retiring in 1972 She had also been a member of Hadassah. Helen is survived by her niece, Gail Golderman of Albany and her nephew Michael Golderman of Georgia. as well as great nieces, Jenna Goldfarb and Molly Golderman. She was predeceased by her sister, Lillian Golderman, Graveside funeral services will be held at the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery on Fuller Road in Albany on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00 am..Those wishing to remember Helen in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Congregation Beth Abraham Jacob, 380 Whitehall Road Albany, NY 12208 or the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center , 180 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203 Helens family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center for the care shown to Helen under the supervision of Nadine Washington
