Obituary of Haley Lauren Birken
Our Daughter, Haley Lauren Birken of Clifton Park and Rexford passed away on Monday September 7, 2015 at the age of 16. It was a short fast acting illness. Haley was a wonderful person, a beautiful girl and a loving Daughter full of life. To say we loved her would be a vast understatement; she made our lives worthwhile and loved her family very much. We will love you and miss you forever darling Daughter. Haley was a member of the Shenendehowa Central School’s Class of 2017, and was looking forward to dreams of becoming a marine biologist. Haley was active with athletics, volunteering and enjoyed participating in many opportunities offered at Shen. Haley especially enjoyed ballet and participated in a beautiful ballet performance every year. Haley cared for her friends at Shen who showed that they also cared about her as well. Haley loved her campers and co-counselors at summer camp which she attended for many years as a camper and was extremely proud of completing her first summer job as a camp counselor. She leaves behind her loving parents Brenda and Stephen, her brother Rafael, her Grandma Kitty, her Aunt Bonnie, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and her many friends at Shen and Camp.
