Obituary of Robert A. Dolgin

Robert A. Dolgin (Bobby D) age 57 of East Greenbush, NY died suddenly on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at his residence. Born in Albany, Bobby was the son of the late Harry and Tillie Dolgin of Rensselaer, NY and was also predeceased by a brother, Lenny Dolgin.
Bobby graduated from the Rensselaer Junior- Senior High School and the Morrisville State College. He had been employed for many years by the NYS Civil Service Department. He was an avid sports fan and very proud of the fact that he was able to attend Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa, Florida in 2001 as well as many baseball spring training camps. . He was a sports columnist for the East Greenbush Courier and the Rensselaer Beacon. Bobby also refereed many basketball and soccer games in the Rensselaer area.
Bobby is survived by his 2 brothers. Lewis Dolgin of Castleton on the Hudson, NY and Marshall Dolgin of Rensselaer, NY.
Friends are respectfully invited to call at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Monday July 20th from 5-7pm.
