Obituary of Marilyn Plesser

Marilyn Peck Plesser, age 88 of Albany, NY died on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. Born in Brooklyn, Marilyn resided in Albany most of her life. She had been employed by the Albany County Purchasing Department and was a longtime member of Congregation Beth Abraham Jacob in Albany Marilyn was married to Louis Plesser until his passing in 1990. Mother of Marvin Plesser and his wife Toby of Loudonville, NY, Lawrence Plesser of Albany and Sharon Gibson and her husband Eric also of Albany, Sister of Harriet Werner (Robert) of Kingston, NY. Sister-in-law of Ellie Peck (Bernie) of Latham, NY,, Barbara Plesser ( Danny) of Albany, NY and Reva Tavelman ( Bill) of Los Angeles. She also leaves brother in laws, Harold Canter ( late Shirley) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Hymie Plesser of Albany and Sam Plesser of Hollywood, Florida. Aunt of Lori and Steven Werner.She also leaves several other nieces and nephews. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany, NY on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 9:30am. Interment will follow services in the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery on Western Avenue in Guilderland, NY.
