Dear Mrs. Kahn,
We are so sorry to learn Mr. Kahn has passed. We go back so many years with both of you eating at the restaurant. Our daughters grew up with loyal customers like you talking to them and having them sit with you when eating. Mr. Kahn was the first person to bring Rabbi Matt to the restaurant to meet me. Over the years we shared many conversations about CGOH. He was so passionate regarding the congregation and its sustainability in the community. Our deep and sincere condolences to you and family.

We are so sorry to hear of the death of Ernie. He went so quickly from that awful cancer. We know Gloria will be totally at a loss without him. You have much sympathy from both of us, and hope that the pain of his loss will lessen over time.
Yours, Ellen and Larry Eisenberg

Our deepest condolences for your family. Ernie was a great friend and a kind and interesting person. We remember fondly a dinner shared at our flat in London - not to mention the weekly lunches with his GE friends. The world is a poorer place for his loss.

I am shocked and sadden as I read the obituary this morning in the paper. Ernie was a great man, a gentle man and a wonderful neighbor and friend.I remember first meeting him when we moved in and he stopped to talk with his wonderful labrador. He introduced himself and always made an effort to comment when something looked nice with the yard or house. He kept our son busy with shoveling jobs for many years while he was in high school. He and Gloria always waved and stopped to talk. And loved to see him while on his walks to "pick up the trash" at Blatnick park. I now continue that tradition. He will be sadly missed and I am SO sorry that I did not get to let him in person how much we cared about him and Gloria. I am sending Gloria and the family our deepest condolenscences. If there isanything we can do, please let us know. We live a 6 Riverdale Road.

My dear friend, Gloria & Family:
How shocked I am to learn about Ernie's passing away. I wish I could be there
to help you in any way possible, Gloria.
He was such a gem of a guy! Everyone that ever met him admired him greatly.
He was a warm, sensitive, intelligent man who was always a pleasure to be with. Ernie will be missed greatly, not only by you and the children and grandchildren, but by the Jewish community in Schenectady and Albany.
My prayers are with you, Love, Roz
