Obituary of Nancy Segore- Freshman
Norwalk, Connecticut
Nancy Segore-Freshman, wife of Steven Freshman of Norwalk, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was 59.
Born September 30, 1955 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Edith Bellin Segore.
Nancy attended Hackett Junior High School and Albany High School. She attended The University of Rochester where she was Magna Cum Laude. She attended Albany Law School and the New York Law School.
Nancy was a prominent attorney for over 30 years in Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was very active with a number of charitable organizations and served as president of the board of directors for both Kids in Crisis and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Nancy was a mother and mentor to many beyond her immediate family. She carved her own path to success, and inspired others to do the same. She was a fun loving person with a heart of gold, a devoted daughter and sister, a great wife and a phenomenal mother.
In addition to her husband Steven, she is survived by her two sons Daniel Freshman and his wife Leah Brown of Norwalk,CT and Benjamin Freshman of Norwalk, CT; by her daughter Arielle Hall and her husband Ian of Newton, MA; and by her brother Steven Segore of Albany, NY.
Shiva will be observed and a minyan held at 214 Milner Avenue (off Buckingham Drive), Albany, at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February, 12th.
