Obituary of Joseph Fluster
Joseph Fluster of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015.
Joe was born in Albany, New York, May 18, 1926, to Mary and Henry Fluster. He graduated Albany High School in 1943 and then served in World War II in the Army Air Corps, stationed in the CBI Theater. A graduate of Albany High School, he completed his formal education at the Technical School at Alfred University. For the next 40 years, he was President and Chief Estimator of H.A. Collman Electric Co; Inc; Albany, New York
An avid boater, Joe served as Commodore of Tri City Yacht Club, Selkirk, New York and also as Commander of the US Power Squadron Unit, Mohawk Hudson Power Squadron of the tri city area. He was a member of the former Washington Masonic Lodge # 85 for over 60 years. In the mid seventies, Joe and his family moved into their new home in Diamond Point on Lake George, New York, for many years they wintered in Fort Myers, Florida and in 1993, relocated permanently to that area.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elaine, his children Henry Fluster, Michael Fluster, Denise Delicata and Patti Prelack , his brother Jay Fluster and seven grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Delicata Renee and Jason Prelack , Samara and Zachary Fluster and Daniel Harris. Great grandfather of Ezra Prelack. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Harris
