Gerri was a very special friend to me. Through the years I had the wonderful fortune of knowing her. She will always have a very special place in my heart as will all of her family that I got to know as well. Thea, you were such a wonderful daughter to Gerri and she appreciated everything you did for her. We had fabulous talks on a daily basis about you and your family. Gerri always had a smile on her face and loved everyone as she was loved by everyone.
I will miss my friend, but I have wonderful memories of helping her with her knitting making a grand total of over 20 afghans. Her love was knitted in each of those squares and many children were made warm with her love.
