Obituary of Lillian Moscovice
Lillian Waldman Moscovice, age 96 of Albany died on Thursday morning, October 9, 2014 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. Born in NYC, Lillian resided for many years in the Bronx. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for the former Pittston Oil Company in NYC. Lillian later moved to Pembroke Pines, Florida where she enjoyed many years. She had been residing the last 2 years in Clifton Park, NY where she moved to be closer to her daughter. She was avid card player and enjoyed knitting, and will be remembered for her great cooking. Lillian enjoyed Broadway shows and music. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and Deborah Organization
Lillian was married to Harold Moscovice until his passing many years ago. Loving Mother of Sheila
( Leonard) Cutler of Clifton Park, NY and Ira ( Sarah) Moscovice of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cherished grandmother of Julie Cutler- Higgins ( Dan) , Heidi Cutler ( John Probeck), Liza Moscovice and Anya Boudreau ( John) . She also leaves 5 great grandchildren.
Services and interment will be held in the New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY on Sunday, October 12th. Those wishing to remember Lillian in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.
