Obituary of Pearl Toppall

Pearl Burack Toppall, age 100 of Albany, NY died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peters's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, Pearl was a lifelong resident. She had been employed as a legal secretary for NYS, retiring many years ago. She was a former member of Congregation Ohav Shalom in Albany and a member of the Albany Hebrew Tailors Association, Pearl was married to Louis Toppall until his passing in 1985. Mother of Harold Toppall and his wife Marcia of Pikesville, Maryland and Larry Toppall of NYC and Florida. Grandmother of Jeffrey Toppall and Elaine Salter, Great grandmother of Matthew Salter, Ian and Samantha Toppall. Pearl was predeceased by her siblings, Florence Goldstein, Mary Weiss, Max Burack, Harry Burrick, Mildred Willenken and Jane Winig.
