Obituary of William Melvin Quattlebaum

WILLIAM MELVIN QUATTLEBAUM Albany, New York William Melvin Quattlebaum, 70 of Albany, NY died on Saturday Born in Savannah, Ga., he was a longtime Albany resident. Son of the late James and Wilhelmina.. William is survived by children, Gwendolyn Quattlebaum Dames , Jacquelyn Quattlebaum Martin, Wilhelmina Quattlebaum Hortin , William Melvin Jr, and Eric Quattlebaum all of NJ. Brother of Rose Lee Quattlebaum Lewis, Priscilla Holmes, Sarah, Mary, James Jr. and Simuel Quattlebaum . A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by siblings, Martha, Lewis and Lawrance. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 10-11am. A service will begin at 11:00am, officiated by Rev. Nathaniel Quattlebaum, with interment to follow in the Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, NY.
