Obituary of Rosine Hassoun

ROSINE SINELIKOFF HASSOUN Rosine Sinelikoff Hassoun of Colonie, NY passed away at the Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Home on Monday June 20. Rosine will once again be together with her beloved husband and best friend of 66 years Albert, who preceded her in death last November. Rosine was a devoted wife and wonderful mother to her two sons. She was a true " Yiddishe Momma" Rosine is survived by her devoted sons, Isaac ( Cindy) Hassoun of Rapid City, SD and Elliott ( Sherri) Hassoun of Slingerlands, NY. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie ( Keith) Shea , David Hassoun and his fiancé, Denise and Dan Hassoun. Great grandmother of Donovan Shea. Aunt of Stephanie Mimoun of Herzelia, Israel and her sister, Anna. Lifelong friend of Rosette Adams of Washington, DC. Rosine was predeceased by her sister, Paulette ( Poppy) Hafez and her parents, Yasha and Fanny Sinelikoff. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. Those wishing to remember Rosine in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Home, 180 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203. The family would like to thank all the nurses and techs at the Cardiology Unit of St. Peter's Hospital as well as the entire staff of the Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Home for the care and kindness shown to our mother during her recent illness.
