Reverend Ed, I am so sorry. I didn't know . If I had known, would have been to the hospital to see you. You taught me so much as far as singing goes and for a long time, all of your students had a great time and the shows we would put on were always so much fun and done so professionally. I thank you because had it not been for you, I would never have known I could enen carry a tune. I wish your days could have been happier and less worry for you and that you could have had all the medical help you needed to continue on with all of us. Rest well in the arms of the Lord. You will be missed, Susan

Dear Eileen, Harvey, Stephen, Marc, and Esther, I am Eddie's first cousin and remember the years we shared as children at each other's respective homes, making up imaginary games and characters. My sister Elaine was a contemporary of Eileen and they did their thing. On our 5th birthdays, Eddie and I appeared together on TV on the Freddie Freighoffer show. Eddie discovered his beautiful singing voice at around the time of his bar mitzvah but he was always humble. He had an excellent sense of humor, a very serious contemplative side, and was always a gentleman. He visited my Dad, his Uncle Sam (Chait) at the hospital before my father passed away and I stood by him at his mother Helen's funeral. The last time I saw Eddie was at Eileen and Harvey's anniversary celebration so I was able to introduce him to my husband Larry. The years and who knows what kept us apart for a long time but I still remember the days of wine and roses- our fasntasy-filled childhood when all was well with the world. Eileen, you have been there for me through all the funerals, my mother's last year and my sister Elaine's just over 4 months ago, so I regret I am not there for you at this egregious time. But know that my thoughts memories and sympathy are all with you as I know what it is to love and lose a young sibling. Be happy you have your other three guys! You guys better take care of her- she's a good mother! Love, Cousin Suzi and her Larry

My deepest condolences to all of Reverend Ed's family and friends. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. Years ago, I was one of Reverend Ed's vocal students, and he was a great teacher who really believed in the potential and growth of all of his students, even when they didn't believe in themselves. He always managed to remain positive and managed to inspire and support all of his students. He was a great talent who will be greatly missed. May God bring him into the light and bring him peace and happiness.

Sorry to read that your dear brother has fallen asleep in death. I do not know your family just wish to offer words of comfort to the family. When a dear loved one dies, their life's struggles with ups and downs comes to a end. However for the bereaved family this is most difficult time. May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss. May the love of God comfort and sustain you and yours now and in days to come.

Eileen, I just read about your brother's passing, and I can't tell you how sorry I am. Gosh, seems like just yesterday that we were all kids, and now he is gone. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Barbara
