Obituary of Richard Gordon

RICHARD GORDON 1941-2011 Richard Gordon, age 69 of Loudonville, NY died on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida. Born and educated in Albany, NY, Richard was a lifelong resident. He was a 51 year employee of the Golub Corporation and was retired. He enjoyed fishing, deep sea fishing, travel and sporting events. Over the years, Richard took pleasure in attending sporting events involving his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted family man with great values and lived by example. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bernice Serrotta Gordon, his children, Lori Jack of Gloversville, NY, Alan Gordon and his wife Lara of Guilderland, NY and Sarah Bouleris and her husband Mark of Loudonville, NY. Brother of Ivan Gordon and his wife Jane of Loudonville, NY and Stewart Gordon ( Janie) of Florida, Cherished grandfather of Marissa Gordon, Michaela Gordon, Jacob Gordon, Tori Bouleris, Haven Bouleris, Adam Bouleris, Freddie Jack, Jimmy Jack, Emily Jack and Anthony Jack. Loving great grandfather of Carter Bouleris. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Eddie Jack. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 3:00pm. Interment will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery on Watt Street in Schenectady, NY. The period of mourning will be observed at the Gordon residence, 8 Chateau Court in Loudonville, NY on Sunday and Monday.
