Obituary of Jean Ada Silvestri

JEAN ADA SILVESTRI 1941-2011 Jean Ada Silvestri, age 69 of Guilderland, NY died peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 1, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born in Windham, NY and has been a Capital District resident most of her life. She was an avid reader, and had a love for animals and birds. Jean also enjoyed playing dominos. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her jokes and the ability to make people laugh. Jean is survived by her loving husband, Sante Silvestri.She was the devoted Mother of Sante Silvestri Jr. and his wife Kaye of Rotterdam, NY and Sheila Kuzmik and her husband Karl of Boyne, Michigan. Twin sister of Joan Mead ( Paul) of South Carolina, as well as other sisters, Betty Goodrich of Hunter, NY, Catherine Williams of Albany, NY and Barbara. She was the cherished grandmother of Kacy Mang, Daniele Callahan, Kevin Silvestri, Kendra Kirby and Anthony Silvestri. She also leaves 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 4-8pm. Entombment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Watervliet Shaker Road on Saturday March 5, 2011 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends may gather at the Levine Memorial Chapel in Albany on Saturday at 11:00 am, prior to proceeding to the cemetery for the entombment. Those wishing to remember Jean in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204. Jean's family would like to thank the caregivers who cared for her throughout her illness.
