Obituary of Lavon Rogers

LAVON ROGERS 1949-2011 Albany, New York Lavon Rogers, age 62 of Hawthorne Avenue in Albany passed away at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 after his courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on January 29, 1949 in Georgia, Lavon lived in several different areas before settling in Albany. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all the games and spending time with his friends and neighbors. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, NY. Friends are welcome at the services.
