To the Sissman family. I met Jack and Dan on the trip we had in 86 from Lachine to Albany. I was one of the Mohawk guys along with Ken, Wendell, Russ, etc. Heard from Rosie about the passing of your husband and father. What wonderful memories I still hold of Jack's amazing sense of humor and his caring, human character. His stories and jokes still make the rounds of our occasional gatherings. Loved the bagels and lox we had for breakfast on the way back home. I was honored to have met him and gained a friend. My most sincere condolences.

Matthew, I'm so sorry for your loss and losing a parent is one of the big hurts in life. What a remarkable man he seems from his obit. You must be very proud of his accomplishments and values and I know you must have wanted him to see your work with the library at our recent meeting. I hope that your pride and warm memories will make this loss easier to take. Rosemary Armao

Dear Matt and the family of Jack Sissman, Regrettably, during my 39+ years of practice, I did not cross paths with Jack directly, but from the content of his obituary notice, it is evident that he epitomized the highest attributes of our chosen profession. He made the most of the opportunities presented in his many and varied endeavors and in doing so, demonstrated a singularity of purpose that, more often than not, culminated in success. Jack's perseverance in pursuit of the more noble elements of the human spirit will continue as a source of inspiration long after his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. Bob Redmond
