Obituary of Lawrence H. Long

LAWRENCE H. LONG 1937-2010 Boca Raton, Florida Lawrence H. Long, age 73 of Albany, NY and Boca Raton, FL, died peacefully on December 18, 2010, in his winter home in Florida. Larry grew up in Albany and attended Albany High School, was a graduate of Siena College 1958 and Albany Law School 1961. He was a practicing attorney for 40 years on North Pearl Street. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He is survived by wife Judith Millman Long, daughther Lysa Long Burke husband John Burke and grandson Connor Burke, daughter Carolyn Myers husband Robert Myers, grandson Zachary Myers and granddaughters Emily and Shelby Myers, son Craig Long, sister Janet Tolhurst husband Mel, brother-in-law Hank Millman and wife Ronni and many neices and nephews. Larry loved golfing, boating, fishing, reading and playing cards Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany, NY on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, NY . In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be designated for research at the Mayo Clinic in memory of Larry Long.
