Obituary of Mickey Bergman

Mickey Bergman, age 67 of Latham, NY, died peacefully at her residence after an extended illness on Wednesday , November 3, 2010. Born in Albany, NY where Mickey was a resident most of her life, she was a graduate of Albany High School and attended Albany College of Pharmacy. After many years working for the New York State Workers Compensation Board she retired to spend several fulfilling years enjoying her family, friends and pets. Mickey loved gardening and will be remembered for her delicious zucchini bread. She could frequently be discovered bird watching from her windows when not enthusiastically enjoying Jeopardy, golf, basketball and especially rooting for the New England Patriots. Mickey is survived by a son Ross E. Bergman of Brookline, MA and a daughter Cara E. Bergman of Latham, NY and a sister Sandi Zarch of Albany, NY Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave, Albany, NY on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow in the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. Those wishing to remember Mickey in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society or teh American Lung Association .
