Obituary of Estelle Weinstein

ESTELLE WEINSTEIN Albany, New York WEINSTEIN Estelle Lustig Weinstein, age 94 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany died on Saturday evening July 3, 2010 at the nursing center. Born in NYC, Mrs. Weinstein had been employed as an art teacher in the Schoharie Central School System and was retired. She resided most of her life in Cobleskill, NY later moving to Glenmont, New York where she resided for 10 years. She was a former member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Schenectady. Estelle was an avid reader and enjoyed rug hooking. Mrs. Weinstein was predeceased by her husband, David Weinstein in 1971. Loving Mother of Fay Weinstein of Albany, NY, Sue Weinstein and her husband, Jeff Baskin of Little Rock, Arkansas and Lois Weinstein and her significant other, Joel Ax of Bay shore, Long Island. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 11:00am Those wishing to remember Estelle in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Road Albany, NY 12205. The period of mourning will be observed at the home of Fay Weinstein, 4 Teacup Circle in Albany on Tuesday evening.
