Mrs. Wallace, you are in my prayers for solace and strength, as you mourn the loss of both your husband, Sid, and brother, Sol. I'm sorry for your losses that came so close together, and hope that the love of family and friends will sustain you in the days to come.

I am a member of Congregation Beth Israel and was pleased to attend the funeral at the Synagogue. The many who spoke to eulogize Sidney Wallace made it evident what a fine mench he was. May he rest in shamayim amongst the holy and pure.

I will always have fond memories of Sid. I'll never forget how well he treated my mother Hilda not only as an employee, but also as a friend. I know she thought very highly of him.
Of course, there was the time when he was visiting his son in Jacksonville which is where I happened to be stationed on a Navy ship in the early eighties. Well, Sid called the ship and invited Hilda's eighteen year old son to have dinner with him and his family at a nice restaurant. It surely made me feel special to be invited to share that moment with them.
I would like to wish the family our condolences and to let you know the world was a better place and my life was richer because he was part of them.
Thank you for the memories, Sid.
John W. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. You each helped Sid achieve his wish to stay within his family as long as possible. He will be blessedly remembered by those who knew him.
