Obituary of Rebeca Lida

Albany, NY LIDA Rebeca Lida, age 95 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany died on Thursday evening September 11, 2008 at the nursing center. Mrs. Lida was born in Argentina where she was an educator for many years. She has been a Capital District resident since 1984. Mrs. Lida enjoyed reading and knitting. She was married to Dr. Emilio Lida for more than 50 years until his passing. She is survived by 2 daughters, Isabel Lida Nirenberg and her husband Ricardo of Albany and Judit Lida Taran and her husband Leonardo of NYC. Sister of Raquel Waissbein of Argentina. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and their spouses and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
